Curzon Uranium Welcomes Yuki Nakano as Senior Manager Asia

Curzon Uranium (“Curzon”) announces with great pleasure that Mr. Yuki Nakano will be joining the Curzon Uranium Ltd team as Senior Manager Asia. In parallel, Curzon will be opening a representative office in Japan led by Yuki to better serve the growing important markets in Asia, not least Japan, but also China and Korea.

Yuki has 9 years working experience with Marubeni Corporation, during which time he was stationed in Kazakhstan to work in the uranium mining sector and in the United States to work for Energy U.S.A. Incorporated, Marubeni’s uranium trading subsidiary, as Senior Trader.

Yuki has comprehensive experience in the nuclear fuel business and will be contributing to the expansion of Curzon internationally and both up- and downstream.

Yuki earned his Bachelors in Material Engineering from Hokkaido University in Japan. Prior to joining Curzon, he spent 9 years working for Marubeni in the nuclear fuel industry, during which time he worked in Tokyo (Japan), Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Connecticut (US). During his time in Kazakhstan Yuki focused on the uranium mining sector and has firsthand experience in the most prolific uranium producing country in the world at the time of their big expansion. Additionally, Yuki was an important contributor to the success of the uranium trading book at Energy USA, the Marubeni uranium trading subsidiary based in Connecticut. Additionally, Yuki brings experience in trade structured finance to the Curzon team.
